Why Southern Cross?
You’re probably wondering why I called my business Southern Cross. When I was thinking of a name, I didn’t want to put only MY NAME on the website, I wanted something that stands for me, that shows who I am, something that belongs to me.
I was born and raised in Argentina; that is in the Southern Hemisphere. The Southern Cross is a constellation that can only be seen there, and it was my company all those years that I lived there. Like people in the Northern Hemisphere always look for the Northern Star to guide them, the same do people in the South with the Southern Cross. When I decided to resume my career as a translator and interpreter and expand my business, I felt that I needed something to guide me through the whole process, and although I can’t see it from my home in Germany, I know that the Southern Cross is always there guiding me to achieve my goals.
